Some cardboard boxes simply spring back into shape after the first fold. Another try, a bit of stomping, and the box is still a box – Tiszta7 playfully recalled this everyday struggle.
The request is simple: fold cardboard flat and put it in the recycling bin. Don't leave it next to the bin, and don't put it on top either.
A folded box takes up much less space, so more cardboard boxes fit into the recycling bin. The area around the trash cans also stays neater if the packaging is actually placed inside the bin.
If you don't succeed the first time, it's worth trying again: fold it up or flatten it, then put it in the recycling bin.
