The district survey seeks input from both pet owners and non-pet owners

Shared streets, shared responsibility

Responsible pet ownership does not stop at the front door. Owners are expected to look after the welfare of the animals in their care while also keeping public streets and squares clean after their four-legged companions.

The appeal also notes that rules are in place in Budapest’s District VII, but they are not followed by everyone. The effects of irresponsible behaviour can be felt by residents who do not own animals as well.

Different questions, different experiences

The questionnaire adapts its questions to respondents’ circumstances. Dog owners, cat owners and people without pets are given slightly different sets of questions, allowing each group to share its own experiences.

Színes Erzsébetváros hopes the responses will provide a clearer picture of how District VII residents view responsible pet ownership and what solutions they consider appropriate.

The questionnaire link can be found in the comments under the original Facebook post.
