The Erzsébetváros Local Government, District VII, Budapest won HUF 6,516,120 in support under the “Covered, lockable bicycle shelters near condominiums and housing estates” call announced by the Budapest Municipality.

Submission deadline: between March 16, 2026and April 30. Applications submitted after the deadline will be rejected.
Planned deadline for
assessing applications: Within 5 working days of the submission deadline, the 2 winning applicants and 2 reserve applicants (in case of withdrawal) are selected by lot from the valid applications and notified in writing at the electronic contact details provided.
Eligible applicants
Private individuals aged 18 or over with a registered permanent address in District VII, Budapest.
Purpose of the call
The purpose of the call is to provide covered bicycle storage for district residents.
Framework of the call
– The period of use is 1 year from signing the user agreement. The agreement cannot be extended; after it expires, a new application may be submitted.
– The original address card must be presented when signing the agreement.
– A maximum of two bicycle spaces can be won per address.
– One application may be submitted per person.
Documents required to apply:
– a fully completed and signed “Application Form” (Annex 1 of the call)
– 1 photo clearly showing the bicycle to be stored
Method and place of submission:
The call and its annexes can be obtained as follows:
can be downloaded from the Local Government’s website (www.erzsebetvaros.hu), or can be collected at the customer service offices of the Erzsébetváros Mayor’s Office, District VII, Budapest (Erzsébet krt. 6. or Garay utca 5., District VII). The customer service offices are open during the Office’s customer service hours: Tuesdays 8:00–12:00, Wednesdays 8:00–12:00 and 13:00–18:00, and Thursdays 13:00–16:00 (the application documents are free of charge),
or, following a request by email (biciklitarolo@erzsebetvaros.hu), they are sent electronically to the applicant.
Method of submission:

– via Ügyfélkapu/Cégkapu (Hivatali kapu address: short name: BPVIIPH, KRID code:500127390)
– in person: on paper, in one copy, in a sealed envelope at the customer service offices of the Mayor’s Office (in the Mayor’s Office buildings at 1073 Budapest, Erzsébet krt. 6. or Garay u. 5., District VII) on Tuesdays 8:00–12:00, Wednesdays 8:00–12:00 and 13:00–18:00, and Thursdays 13:00–16:00. Customer service records the date of receipt on the envelope (year, month, day, hour, minute).

Application forms that are incomplete or unsigned, or received outside the submission period, are invalid. There is no opportunity to supply missing items or to appeal
Assessment of applications:
From the valid applications received, 2 winning applicants for the bicycle shelter in front of Alsó erdősor u. 7. are selected by lot. In case of withdrawal, 2 further reserve applicants are selected, who are notified in writing at the electronic contact details provided. User agreements are concluded with the winning applicants.
Notification of winning applicants
– The Office notifies applicants of the result of the draw in writing (by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt, or electronically via Hivatali kapu or email).
Contract process:
The Local Government concludes user agreements with the winning applicants. Applicants have 10 working days from notification that the agreement is ready to sign it; if this period expires without signature, the application becomes invalid.
Bicycle shelter usage fee:
The usage fee is HUF 4,800 gross per year, payable within 10 working days of signing the agreement to the account of the Erzsébetváros Local Government, District VII, Budapest – 10400140-00033574-00000000 – stating the agreement number in the reference.

Transparency
By submitting an application, participants also consent to the data recorded during the procedure being processed in connection with the application, the procedure and the support decision by the Erzsébetváros Local Government, District VII, Budapest as grantor and by the bodies preparing and making the support decision, in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR) and Act CXII of 2011 on the right to informational self-determination and freedom of information (hereinafter: Info Act).
The applicant is responsible for ensuring that the data of natural persons in the materials it submits during the procedure have been processed lawfully and that the data subjects have received the necessary information.
The winning applicant acknowledges the provision of the Info Act under which any natural person, legal person or organization without legal personality that enters into a financial or business relationship with a person belonging to a subsystem of public finances must, on request, provide anyone with information on public interest data related to that relationship.
For matters not regulated in this call, the relevant provisions of Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code and other related legislation apply.
