The Council of the Local Government of Erzsébetváros, District VII, Budapest,
pursuant to Local Government Decree 37/2012. (IX.25.) on establishing Erzsébetváros local government awards and the rules for awarding them, invites nominations for the
“VÉGHELYI JÓZSEF” award from
the the heads of district educational institutions and the parents of children/students enrolled in district institutions
The “Véghelyi József” award may be given to a person who has done outstanding professional work in Erzsébetváros for at least 5 years and has earned lasting merit in the development, teaching, education, training, care and protection of the next generation and the meaningful use of their free time, and who, by setting an example, has helped children’s socialization, self-fulfillment and growth into useful, valuable citizens.
Each year, the award may be given to at most 5 people .
The – nominations for the award, with detailed written professional justification, may be made by:
– the mayor;
– members of the Council;
– heads of educational institutions operating in Erzsébetváros, District VII, Budapest;
– parents of at least 100 children/students enrolled in Erzsébetváros institutions.
Nominations must be submitted by March 16, 2025 , addressed to Mayor Péter Niedermüller, via the following contacts:
