Local funeral support
The support may be granted to an applicant with a registered address in District VII who actually lives at that address, whose family’s monthly net per capita income does not exceed HUF 213,750 for a person living alone, or HUF 199,500 for an applicant with a family.
The application can be submitted until the last day of the third month after the funeral.
The amount of local support for funeral costs is 30% of the funeral costs proven by invoice, up to HUF 190,950
Local support for funeral costs cannot be granted if the total of the invoices submitted by the applicant exceeds
a) HUF 400,000 for release of the urn after cremation;
b) HUF 500,000 for a cremation funeral;
c) HUF 600,000 for a cremation funeral with scattering of ashes;
d) HUF 800,000 for a traditional burial.
