Appointment of a guardian, exclusion from guardianship
The notary’s guardianship authority is responsible for taking the minutes of declarations appointing a guardian or excluding someone from guardianship.
The content of the minutes taken by the notary of the parent’s declaration is set out in Section 26/C (1) of the Gyer. If the parent’s place of residence changes after the declaration is made, the notary of the local government sends a copy of the minutes of the legal declaration appointing a guardian or excluding someone from guardianship to the notary of the local government that has become competent (Gyer. Section 26/C (2)).
